Workplace Harassment Is In Violation of Federal Law

workplace harassment is unlawful and violates federal law including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  This violates is based on religion, race, age, color, sex, national origin, or disability.  It creates a hostile work environment interfering with the individuals ability to perform his or her job.  This violation also has to happen on a frequent basis, be severe in nature, or be humiliating.  Surveillance through monitoring employee email can be used to gain evidence to be used in a court of law for harassment.  An EEOC officers has the responsibility of keeping up with the procedures and the discipline of all alleged cases of workplace harassment.
