Even though the warranty on your hdtv projection tv may cover certain repairs, you should also consider that non-covered damage or theft may occur.  In particular, if you do not live in a safe neighborhood, it might be advisable to purchase theft insurance.  It may also be prudent to make sure that your house or apartment insurance carrier is aware that you have this type of TV.  In this situation, if there is a fire or covered natural disaster, you will be able to get a reimbursement from the carrier.   You may also want to update your riders to make sure that you have flood insurance, or other types of coverage that will help protect you as the climate continues to change.

It’s getting easier and cheaper to get into Blue Ray burning nowadays, which is great. I never seem to be able to catch my favorite HDTV broadcasts when they run.
I’ve been shopping around for hd dvd recorders. They look like a good option. Not cheap yet, but reasonably priced, now.
Blu Ray Recorders look like they may be the best. I hesistated at first about the whole Blu-Ray vs HDDVD thing, but since dual players are coming out, it shouldn’t be a problem.
