Learning About Dental Office Assistant Careers

September 6th, 2008 . by admin

The economy stinks right now. I’m sure you’re feeling it. Lately I’ve been checking out dental office assistant careers. Not what I always saw myself growing up to be, but the market is still good and the pay is decent.
In particular, I’ve been thinking about Dental Assistant Training. Overall prospects for the career look OK right now - there seems to be a shortage of good people, so getting a job should be doable.
I’m really hoping I can find a way to make a change. This one may not be the best bet, but it’s worth looking into at least.
Gotta Run for now. More later.

Searching For Info On Dental Assisting

August 4th, 2008 . by admin

I’ve been wondering lately if I shouldn’t look into dental assisting. It would be a good way to get some references for dental school down the line. I’m not quite ready to go back to school full time yet.
In particular, I’ve been thinking about Dental Assistant Training. Overall prospects for the career look OK right now - there seems to be a shortage of good people, so getting a job should be doable.
I’m anxious to make a change, but I need to know more before I can commit to getting the training and making the switch.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.

Trouble With Peripheral Neuropathy

June 12th, 2008 . by admin

Diabetes would be plenty bad enough without the risk of
Peripheral Neuropathy, but let me tell you, it’s one of the worst aspects of the disease. It’s incredibly painful and difficult to treat.
In particular, I’ve learned a lot recently about Diabetic Neuropathy Symptoms, and man am I discouraged. I’m too young for all of this.
I really need to get my diet fixed. Exercise is tough right now, but diet is something I can act on no matter what.

Dental Assistant Careers

May 21st, 2008 . by admin

Lost my job again. I’ve been thinking of a career change anyway, so it might be for the best. A friend said to check out dental assistant careers. I’m a bit squeamish, so I’m leery of the idea, but the pay is good and the jobs are stable.
I’ve been reading up on Dental Assistant Colleges, and think I might be interested. Getting a job should be no problem once I have the training done.
I’m sick and tired of working where I am, so it’s worth looking into a potential change, at least.

Trouble With Diabetes Neuropathy

May 18th, 2008 . by admin

I have heard a lot of bad things about diabetes, but no one ever warned me about
Diabetes Neuropathy. The “agony of de-feet,” I call it. It’s absolutely debilitating.
I’ve tried to research exactly What Diabetic Neuropathy Is, but I’m no doctor, and the doctors at my HMO have been characteristically unhelpful. The health system in this country really stinks.
Perhaps this will be the final motivation needed to get my diet and exercise situation in order. Of course exercise is all the tougher, now.

A really great doctor

January 4th, 2008 . by admin

I really like my doctor, because he always spends time in order to make sure that I fully understand anything to do with my medical condition, and this was true when I spoke to him last year about a treatment for my back problem, and he spent a lot of time explaining what I should choose for my cervical spine treatment in order to make sure that I got the best effects. In the end I underwent laser spine surgery, and I can honestly say that it was a very good thing to take his advice because the surgery was a complete success and I am now totally fit and well again.

Is Laser Surgery the Best Option Available?

November 25th, 2007 . by admin

Unfortunately, the answer to this question often becomes a matter of opinion and personal preference. A great deal depends on what you want to accomplish by going for the surgery, and if you are willing to take the financial and health risks involved. When it comes right down to it, you can still achieve perfect eyesight with glasses or contact lenses. That said, today, an increasing number of people seem to feel that the benefits of laser eye surgery outweigh any long term ramifications.
