This holiday season; throw a christmas party for your child and their friends with a “Give unto others” theme. Instead of bringing gifts for your child to the party, have them bring unwrapped gifts for other children in need. You can spend part of your party time allowing the kids to wrap the gifts themselves with bows and ribbon and shiny paper. When you are finished, load the kids and the gifts in the car and take them to a Toys for Tots drop off location or another location accepting donations for needy children. This type of party will allow your children to have fun visiting with their friends while allowing them to do good for others who are less fortunate.

One of the first things that an environmental building design should incorporate is that great lump of natural energy source called the sun. A good passive solar design will aim to provide just enough sunlight into the rooms to be absorbed by the surrounding thermal mass. The thermal mass can be viewed of as a kind of heat battery that absorbs warmth during the day to keep things from getting too hot and then gives that heat back to the room after the sun goes down. Equally important to thermal mass is insulation, such as straw bales, that will ensure that the heat remains on the inside.

I’ve been interested in
Geo Thermo Heating and Cooling for some time now, but it seems like the technology is finally taking off in the U.S. That’s great news.
All my research on Climate Master Geothermal points to the same conclusion: this technology should continue to grow here in the U.S. for the foreseeable future. It’s a great investment.
I think I’ve settled on investing both in a geothermal system for my home, and shares in geothermal companies.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.

So I finally got a job, but it’s all the way across the country. I’m dreading having to deal with
moving across the country. Total nightmare.
So now I’m digging around on the Internet looking for Cheap Moving Companies for long distance moves, trying not to think about the terrible job of packing that’s ahead of me.
I just want it to be done with. It feels like buying all my own stuff all over again, in a way - sometimes I think I should just sell it all and start over.
Watch this space.

solar heating systems is one of the most popular applications of solar energy in the home, and it’s easy to see why. Usage is steady and predictable, and getting enough power is manageable. Plus it can be very cost effective for some.
Solar Heat Exchangers are great for homeowners interested in a long-term investment which can also benefit the environment.
Be sure to do your homework, though, and make sure you will be able to recoup your investment in a reasonable time frame.
I’ll post more soon.
