Aluminum fencing for swimming pools

August 8th, 2008 . by admin

We recently got our outdoor swimming pool fenced with aluminum fencing, and are extremely happy with our decision. The fencing has added a new luxury to the swimming pool, increasing its worth in the eyes of my visitors twice over! We got them painted sea blue, so that they could blend with the over all look of the pool area. A friend who visited some days back even promised that she would be doing the same to her swimming pool! Getting aluminum fencing was undoubtedly a great idea, and I am glad got aluminum fencing since they make me so proud!

Maintenance free artificial wood fencing

July 28th, 2008 . by admin

My niece was a great stickler for heritage and tradition and was sorely disappointed that reality did not permit her to fence her garden with real wood. But when I explained to her the advantages of having a fence made out of artificial wood she caught on to the idea. Going online we found the different styles and designs that would fool anybody into thinking that it was the real stuff. Many options are available for different types of fence. The bonus point is that Artificial Wood Fencing requires hardly any maintenance like painting or varnishing and applying of any sort of wood preservatives.

Pros And Cons To Vinyl Fencing

June 24th, 2008 . by admin

Vinyl is a bit different than wood when it comes to fencing. Like any product it has its pros and cons. Before you chose to use vinyl fencing, you should know both sides of it. Some pros to Vinyl Fencing are:

- Vinyl is usually very strong. It’s harder than break or tear than wood and it’s also very flexible.
- Very easy maintenance. Vinyl only needs to be washed to maintain its appearance. You will never need to paint or stain it.
- The color is the same throughout. Wood fencing can have one color on the surface and another inside. This will make scratches, dings, dents and especially breaks stand out more. With vinyl it can hide imperfections well.

Some cons to vinyl siding are:
- Vinyl expands when it’s heated which means it can move. It can get extremely hot.
- Vinyl colors are limited. Because of its heating issue, vinyl fencing can only be found in light colors. But it can be made to resemble wood.

There are some people will always have to say that everything has to be in unique materials or have to be in natural materials. I like natural materials too, but when it comes to installing things in my garden I really do not want the hassle of having to maintain stuff all the time, and it is because of this that I decided to install Fake Wood Fencing, since it enables me to have a fence that looks extremely natural without having to spend time on upkeep and therefore I have time to do stuff that I enjoy.
