Lose Belly Fat Responsibly

Many people try to starve themselves to lose stomach fat. They conclude the less they eat, the more weight they lose, so if they eat nothing, they’ll lose the most weight. It may sound logical, but there are major flaws with this. Our muscles control our metabolism, which controls the calories we burn. If the body believes it is starving, it will take countermeasures to defend itself. It will go into “starvation mode” and begin consuming muscle to compensate for the loss. This will slow down metabolism and prevent weight loss. Also, once starvation is over, the body will attempt to store extra fat to protect itself in the future. So if you want to lose stomach fat, eat healthy, but don’t eat nothing!
