My basement was in a real state, and I had hardly been down there for months, simply because I couldn’t stand the look of the place. The worst thing about it was the floor, a cold concrete floor, which was really terrible, and was impossible to sit on. I knew that I needed to do something about it, and so I had a really good look at all the different basement flooring options that were available to me, and in the end I decided that a floating floor would be one of the best things I could do, since it would make the floor nice and warm, and would also stop any kind of moisture penetration. It took me a few weeks to install it, but now the basement is a really nice place to be, and my kids love playing down there.
