The Douglas County Master Gardeners offer a one hour training course in vermiculture and an additional one hour class in compost tea. The vermiculture class introduces the public to red wiggler composting worms and provides simple instructions in how to build and maintain a worm bin. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. They can be done by an adult or used as a class project for schools or children's clubs. The compost tea class covers how to make compost tea and how to use it for it's best advantage.
